Whether we have a concert or competition, our performance appearance is very important. Students’ uniform appearances tell the audience how proud you are to be a part of McKamy Orchestra! Order your uniform TODAY if you do not have one yet! Uniforms take up to 6 weeks to be delivered.

Blue jeans (no holes, rips, or stains)

Symphonic, Chamber, Philharmonic Orchestra

Option 1: 

Formal black pants 

Formal black closed-toe shoes

Long black socks or calf-high stockings that cover the ankle

White tuxedo shirt (see uniform order form)

Plain white undershirt

Black bow tie

Black cummerbund

Black belt optional

 

Option 2: 

Formal black dress (see uniform order form)

Calf-high black stockings or thin solid colored black socks

Formal black closed-toe shoes

 

Concert Dress Policy

If any member of the orchestra arrives for a concert or contest in what the orchestra director determines to be inappropriate concert attire, he/she will be responsible for acquiring the proper dress sent home, unable to perform in said concert. This will be treated the same as a “no show” to the concert and the student will receive a zero for a major grade. We have donated clothing and shoes for those who wish to borrow items. Please give the teacher at least a few day’s notice if you are in need of something from the closet so this does not interfere with other concert day preparations
